My '06 Rubicon has a loud warning beep that goes off whenever the key is in the ignition and the door is opened or the emergency brake is applied. How can I disconnect the darn thing?

Asked by paid4 May 04, 2010 at 03:07 PM about the 2006 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon

Question type: Car Customization

I have removed the 10 amp accessories fuse from under the hood, and the beeper is
silenced.  But then I get a digital error message that blinks "no fuse" in the odometer
window, so this is no solution.  Does anyone know how to disconnect the
annoyingly loud warning beeper?  Thanks.
