Car needs help starting with petal

Question type: General

I have a 07 Pontiac Grand Prix when I try to start it
it starts and then dies but if I try to start it while
pushing the gas it starts just fine and stays running
what could be my problem

Clean the throttle body pretty common issue for GM'S of later 2000s have the same issue on my 06 Pontiac Torrent and a sticking throttle body on my 98 Grand Prix
