Sounds like some part of a computer needs to be reset. There are so many computers in todays cars. Check your manual or go online to get more info.

My son's G6 GT had the same problem. I remembered he had to buy a new battery, read these posts, put 2 + 2 together and fixed his problem by cycling the windows full down and up twice in the ACC position of the ignition key. Problem fixed.

Battery died over the winter. Drivers window would not come back up. Raised window up and held button for 2 seconds twice. Cycled window down and held down button for 2 seconds. Window started working again. Its in the manual. Cycling up and down didn`t work for me. paulgrabel@sbcglobal.net Mechanic wanted to take my door apart. Glad i figured it out
