2007 MB R350 Wagon

My father-in-law has a 2007 MB R350 Wagon. all of the sudden, when he
enters the car he gets an audible message saying "Powering On". After a fe
seconds, another audible message says "powering off". It's not so bad
except it continually does this about every 5 minutes while being driven.

We just picked it up from the Euopean Import specialist that he uses for
maitenance & repairs & he could not resolve the issue. Any help you can
offer would be greatly, greatly appreciated!!!

Does he have a GPS or Radar detector plugged into one of the power sockets?
