Brake System, Brake Assist, Traction Control lights after backing over snow bank

Asked by bdknutson Feb 27, 2019 at 07:42 PM about the 2006 Buick Lucerne V6 CXL FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The end of my driveway had a snow bank
from the plow. I backed over it at speed and
now I’m getting warnings to “Service Brake
System”, “Service Brake Assist” and “Service
Traction Control”. I didn’t see any fluid leaks
and the brake fluid level is fine. Any ideas on
what it could be?

If this happened directly after backing over the snowbank I bet you ripped out the sensor wire for the anti-lock brakes or a speed sensor wire, almost guarantee that's what happened!!!
