I asked my hubby Carl and he said it was the carburator, Edlebrock is the best. Go with 500hp for a 350 engine plus. The same happened to his 1977 Vette which is For Sale. He replaced it with a ZZ 383 GM crate boarded out to a 465hp. Katie ;)

Which manifold- intake or exhaust? the intake would make sense because somebody disturbed the fuel lines and didn't get it back together QUITE right

Hubby states that it could one or the other or both. Because hubby's 77 Vette manifold, connected to carburator blew up. Katie ;)
