Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello. I own 2007 Subaru Impreza NA non-Turbo.
So a basic automatic that has been sitting around
because of spun rod going out. Have a extra
engine which is a JDM 2000-2005 EJ20 SOHC
Engine Forester Outback Legacy EJ253 EJ25(pic
below). Which is just sitting around. I have heard
and read that I could fit it in and it would run fine.
What would I need to change? Any sensors? ANY
TIPS AND TRICKS WILL BE HELPFUL! Thank you!
