My heat won't shut off in my 2006 mercury mountaineer, help!

Which means what. The heat is actually not working it is just the blower fan that stays on. Can't shut it off and the air is cold not warm at all.

If the heat isn't working, there can be lots of things wrong. plugged heater core, radiator, bad thermostat, dirt/debris plugging around the heater core, Low coolant, the fan is just part of the equation.
