I have a 1995 Chevy Tahoe 4x4 lawn ornament, with a
blown out 4L60E. I am the only person that is allowed any
kind of tools near truck and always been a that way. I do
know some of the history and all behind the 4l60e or 700r4,
and even a little of the 4l80e. I do know a couple things
relocated from early to late 90s but I'm un able to get any
clear answers on, can I  just use any mid to late 90s 4L60E
from any 1500 model truck or suv or do I need to find a
1995 Tahoe trans, or any 1500 model truck or SUV trans
from 1995, it he trans is other than 1995 do I need to have
PC reprogrammed or flashed to the new trans???

I believe any Chevy with the 4L60E within that time frame should mate with the engine, given the bell housing bolt pattern is the same. As far as the computer goes, there shouldn't be an issue.
