2000 LW2 wont turn over

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello all, my Saturn won't start. My heater fan suddenly quit, then the service
engine light came on. Parked the car in the closest lot and then it wouldn't
turn over. I have lights, radio, and can shift into gears. I don't have heater
fan, heated seat warmers, or rear defroster. Of course, it won't crank. Not
even the click-click-click of a bad starter or battery. Any intel would be greatly
appreciated.

So after checking all the accessory parts for starting my car, we looked at the wiring. We found an aftermarket kill switch on the firewall. It was bad. We disconnected it and reconnected the original wires and presto! the car works fine. I think it was installed by the dealer because it was the showroom car for that model.
