I'll assume you checked for foreign objects obstructing the mechanism. I can only suggest unplug the harness, unbolt the seat, and pull it out of the car, and give it a good once over. After cleaning it hit it with some good lithium grease. I find that if you remove the door sill trim and lift the edge of the carpet you can stretch the wire harness enough to plug it into the seat propped up just outside the car in order to test the motor/mechanism before reinstalling it into the vehicle.
