Check also: plug wires, coils or coil packs, fuel injectors on the affected cylinder(s). A noid light can help you check is the injector is firing correctly. A misfiring injector may also be leaking into cylinder causing backfires.

Now I have a misfire in cylinder 5 instead of cylinder 1 after changing plugs ..... also at 40 I have a bad miss until I hit 45 then happens again if speed drops back down It's like I have a misfire when driving unless I am giving it gas !!
