Shaking engine and loss of power at 50mph

When I'm driving and I reach speeds to 55 miles
per hour to 60 miles per hour the engine start
shaking and in as a loss of power

it may be the tranny does it do it when you floor the pedal or just at highway speeds ? does it smooth out if you let off the gas ?
