You can find that info. in your owner's manual.It depends on many variables, including engine size, gears in rear axle and the size of truck(1500,2500,3500 series).Also, is this a fifth wheel or tow behind trailer ? .Also, weight distribution systems add quite a lot of towing weight to any size truck, by leveling out the trailer to be towed and better balancing that weight with the frame of the towing vehicle.
