can the transmission from a 1995 gmc sierra 4wd fit in a 1998 gmc 4wd?

I have a 1995 gmc sierra 4wd with a 4l60e transmission. can I put this transmission in my 1998 gmc 4wd?

Probably will fit but will not work. '98 trany is controlled by a OBDII computer, and the '95 is controlled by a OBD1 computer.
