car starts by itself

Asked by Guru995XG May 31, 2017 at 07:52 PM about the 2007 Ford Escape XLT AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

This past week my 2007 ford escape starts when ever I lock the doors, the
key is not in the ignition but it just starts.  I have had problems with the alarm
going off randomly for years and the rear hatch opens when it's in the mood
but now having my car start when I lock the doors is a real pain in the butt.  I
love the escape but ford should fix these issues.

Thank you for your help, I am sure that getting it diagnosed will be a lengthy and costly undertaking.
