1997 Chevy suburban lost all gears

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Was driving 75 mph let off gas and
coasted for a few seconds. Pushed
has petal and had no forward gears.
Pulled over stopped shofted to
reverse..nothing...Checked
fluid,linkage,tried starting in
neutral...nothing...no leaks

The trans may be dead and need a rebuild. They can die from one second to the next. It has happened to me.

Hey I'm having that same problem and I know it ain't nothing wrong with the clutch pack it's all new even the torque converter I was doing 60 mph and all of the sudden nothing I lost all gears with out a sound vibration or anything would you or anyone have any clue.
