No crank no start on my Buick

Asked by GuruR764H Feb 17, 2020 at 03:19 PM about the 2006 Buick Rainier CXL AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The car will start but when I get to where I am going like the store when I come
out it won't start the dash goes blank If i wait for about 2 hours it will start up
again but when I get to the next place it does it again  I have changed the
ignition switch and it still keeps doing this any idea why

Tighten your battery connections, make sure your new ignition switch is AC Delco. Clean ground terminal on tranny hump passenger side. Pull carpet back a tad, 1 bolt.

I had that same issue. Then it got to where it would die out going down the road. Played chase the code with our scanners. Replaced pretty much every sensor on the stupid thing. Even replaced the fuel pump. Turned out to be a bad fuse box
