Mini 2006 convertible roof is leaking water and hissing noise while driving , is it the seall or the roof

It may be time for a new top or at least new weather stripping.

I don't know how the top latch works on your car but maybe it can be adjusted to close the gap.

The seals close together but there is a gap where the canopy meets the roof, I saw another mini of the same age with the same gap
