what problems most likely cause the car to die immediately after starting it as soon as I take
foot off gas pedal? The car starts fine every time and will stay running as long as foot is on gas.
Once you let off gas car dies immediately.  What are the most likely causes for this?

Check air filter and clean throttle body. Replace fuel filter if have not done so in a while and add fuel injector cleaner to gas tank.
