1998 lumina

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Some one broke in my car and broke my gear
shifter now my car changes gear  without my foot
on brake and key turned to on position.And I get no
dashboard lights but head light work and tail lights
both work can someone please help me fix my car

You will have to identify the broken parts, buy new ones and install them. Your best bet is to find a good mechanic.

What ever you do be safe. If the car starts in gear it could take off if you don't have your foot on the brake pedal.
