On the Chevy '98 Blazer, is the rear windshield wiper fluid tube connected to the water pump? I recently had that replaced but now there is no fluid coming out of the rear hatch wiper?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I recently had my water pump replaced and when I went to use the rear
windshield wiper fluid, nothing came out.  It's fine on the front windshield, is the
rear one hooked up to the water pump?  What do I do? Go back to who
replaced my water pump or what? Is it a separate repair?  I'm all alone and
don't have a clue about this.  Please help.  Thanks.

Water pump pumps engine coolant and not washer fluid so they are not related. Do some reading at the link....http://blazerforum.com/forum/2nd-gen-s-series-1995-2005- tech-41/rear-window-washer-fluid-does-not-work-29928/

Well I did go out and check everything on the rear hatch but apparently it IS at the engine point. I'll try to have my mechanic look at it. He's a Master Mechanic, 20 yrs. exp. and just replaced the water pump and cv axle and was trying to get through the holidays so I'll see if he can take another look at it. I think it may have come loose from the main distribution point in the engine. No biggie, would like to have it working. Car's doing fine other than that. Oh well. Thanks again.
