why do my trailer tail lights not work but turn signals and brake lights do?

I just installed a new trailer wiring harness and have been able to get the turn
signals and brake lights to work but not the tail lights

YOU TAPED INTO THE REAR TAIL LIGHT PARKING LIGHS/WIRE UNDER THER..DOES YOUR TEST LIGHT FOR THE RUNNING LIGHT WIRE HAVE POWER UNDER THERE AT THE SOCKET WIRE....WITH THE LIGHT SWITCH ON....GEEEZZ..IM MESSING THIS UP..DID YOU FIND THE RUNNING/PARKING LITE WIRE AT THE SOCKET??
