Lighting problem. Lights do not work in the correct sequence. (Only way I can describe it)

Asked by Michael Sep 04, 2014 at 03:11 PM about the 2000 Chevrolet Blazer LT 4-Door RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Bilnker turns on hazzards, brake pedal set
off door chime, right side brake light works
unless parking lights are on then it just
stays on. Multifunction switch new, all
bulbs good, all fuses good, all connections,
good. Truck has a lot of custom work done
to it but nothing that explains why the lights
are all back wards. Any help is appreciated.

do both blinkers trigger the hazards? or just the right? When you hit the brakes (with lights turned off) do you notice the running lights come on? I feel like you have a single phase bulb (3156) in your tail/brake light when you need a dual phase (3157).

Tail lights are led. Both blinkers trigger hazzards. Brake with parking lights on gets right side brake light and.left side parking light. Front markers not on.
