Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a VW passat 2006 2.0t and it seem like every single time I fix it a
month later something else is wrong.I was driving my vw one day and at
the stop light I heard a beeping noise (warning buzz) and the brake light on
the dashboard started blinking. My car started to shake a little and my
steering wheel locked up and my car cut completely off. I'm really confused
whats wrong with it. Its over heating as well. I had the thermostat and
thermostat housing replaced , a full tune up, a new battery, new water
auxiliary pump, new coolant sensor too. My next idea is to get my water
pump and alternator fixed but idk if thats the problem and i don't want to
spend so much on that and still not be closer to solving the problem. Also I
just bought a new battery and my car lights or anything wont come on. I
have to get a jump for them to come on and once the cables are removed
it shuts back off.

When I paid for it to be diagnosed I sorta told him what I thought the problem could be(water pump). When he called for me to come and pick it up he told me that it was my water pump he wasnt there when I got there and nobody gave me a receipt or paper showing the results. That where I went wrong. Each time I got it fixed I did pay and he gave me another idea of what it could be. He was basically playing the guessing game.
