um.. hmm I am guessing your timing chain possibly jumped a tooth may even possibly be the oil pump I did a quick search and apparently there is a bolt on the timing sprocket that tends to break on the oil pumps of these cars. also the plastic guides and tensors tend to ware out and cause looseness in the chain. most people think oh its a chain driven it never needs to be repaired or maintained unlike the timing belt of the past but in reality it needs to be maintained just the same the only difference is it needs to be done a bit later in its service history. If you can try to check out your timing chains i think ecs offers a good deal on parts if your valves are not damaged. if this is not the case we will jsut try to work it out.

Thanks I will look in to it but rite now my car will not start up at all so I would have to get it towed to a shop

one thing i could suggest is see if you can't get to the chains and see if they are loose you may be able to do this at home with minimal tools.

What would be mean if the check engine light comes on and when you look it up it says it has something to do with the gas what does that mean
