my dive shaft came out of my 99 chevy tahoe 4x4 automatic how far can I drive it in 4 hi?

My  whoke drive shaft came out where the front joint goes in the drive shaft the cap
cameoff ither day and wwarped the hole , how far can I drive it in 4 hi ? And what other
year model can I use in it im having a hard time finding a used 99 thaoe drive shaft.

You got the old square body with the 5.7? Any 4x4 tahoe shaft should do. Just be easy on takeoff and being a front wheel drive tahoe will be fine for awhile. I wouldn't plan any trips or doing this for long term
