your trany may have water mixed in wit hteh fluid. A slow moving transmission can happen when the vehicle is on cold start. so until the fluid has warmed up and had a chance to shift around in the transmission it will act a bit sluggish since cold will bring the thickness viscosity of the fluid up and make it harder to shift threw like it normaly does.

Have your fluid level checked at a vw/audi certifed mechanic. Anything less for a vw or audi is not recomended since they are not your average joe blow car.
