dont know ho to say it, but what type of gearbox [caja de cambios] should a car like this have. Mine is 1974 beetle assembled in chile with parts brought from germany, but i think the transmission is not working how it should.

its a 4 speed i hope anything 69 up should fit you didnt say whats wrong or what its doing so hard to tell if its the clutch or not

Old VW... You're going to need to give some details, but I'd guess, having no details, that the clutch cable needs to be adjusted...
