Swapping motors

Asked by Michelle Apr 05, 2016 at 06:13 PM about the 1999 Chevrolet Blazer LS 4-Door RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Can I put a 2001 v-6 Chevy Blazer engine into a
1999 v-6 Chevy Blazer. Observation tells me I can,
but have been told 1999 stands alone.

I do not see any problem. I looked up several different parts for the engines, and they are the same. 4.3L is a 4.3L in those years.
