will a 96 s-10 blazer motor go into a 97 s-10 blazer

Yes, a sensor or two may be in a different location but the engines are the same. Only stipulation is 4x4 and 2wd, they have different oil pans, and location of the oil filter

use the original intake manifold , everything else is the same .
