Tranny, clutch, or 5th gear?

I was driving my 87 accord down the highway in 5th, when the stick kicked out of gear,
and an intense grinding started. She still starts and moves, but every time the axle rotates
i hear a grinding, followed by a clunk (even in neutral). Can anyone tell me what broke?
