Rpm hand jumps on idle, car accelerates slowly and jolts, when put in reverse is doesn't always move until I go forward in drive first

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just had my fuel pump and injector replaced and I
was hoping it would take care of some of the
problems. I'm not sure if there could be multiple
causes for these problems? I'm planning on taking
it in soon because my valves are leaking. Would
this cause any of these symptoms?

Scan for fault codes. That jumpy tachometer makes me think crankshaft position sensor or code P0320. Leaky valves is the end of the line but run it until it quits. That diagnosis has to proven with a compression test. Somebody is just guessing. So start with a scan.
