These engines have a known problem and fix for the EGR port air passage. The air passages in the intake manifold build up a very bad clog, and the fix involves taking off the egr valve, and the intake manifold, drilling out the hole in the manifold, cleaning it, then driving in a bigger new tube, then reassembling everything. This could possibly be your problem. Mne did not originally set a computer code so it took awhile for me to find the problem, waiting until it did set a code. You can google it & can get the kit from Honda or cheaper online.

I have a 1980 Honda Accord start and runs great with or with out AC, wipers and Stereo on. But when the headlights are turned on the engine starts to die, if headlights are turned off before engine dies the engine takes off and runs great. Hi, My 2005 Honda Accord has died twice in the last week for no reason. Last Monday while going to leave work it wouldn't start and I didn't leave anything on, I had a colleague jump it (battery is only 4 months old by the way) and was able to drive normally until yesterday when I got in my car and again it wouldn't start.
