I just had my water pumb replaced on Thursday, now on Saturday I notice my oil gage is not working, what happened? Could it have any thing to do with the water pumb, it should not have? Could they done somthing while changing the water pumb, they were checking to see if it was really the water pumb or something else causing the water pumb to leak. The garage told me that my water pumb needs to be replaced, on my surbarban 2003. They said it is not like a other water pumbs, they said on a surbarban the antifreeze is beening thrown against the moter or a shaft??? What are they talking about? And could it be something else causing it to leak out once in a while. Not very often to I have to put antifreeze in the surburban when it gets low, however it appears to be getting worse. Help! changed fuel pump 2 months ago. just changed it again and now it was bad so it was needed. however, it wont start still. it did start for a few seconds when gas was put in the engine.
