I just had my water pumb replaced on Thursday, now on Saturday I notice my oil gage is not working, what happened? Could it have any thing to do with the water pumb, it should not have? Could they done somthing while changing the water pumb, they were checking to see if it was really the water pumb or something else causing the water pumb to leak. They replaced my air conditioner hose.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I took my car down to the garage to be fixed.  the waterpumb I was told need to be replaced.  One garage told me it would be &900.00 due to the fact he had to cut my clutch fan off?????  I took it to another garage, small one and they said there is sometimes a hose a clamb that could cause the leak.  But it turned out to be the water pumb itself.  They are also changed the air conditioning hose,  They said they checked everthing to see if it was a water pumb.  But no luck.  Ciould they have done something while checking f to see if it is the water pumb?

they might have left a connector unplugged in this case the oil pressure sending unit. I dont know if its in the area of needing to be removed for this job ive never done one.

Is it Saturday? out in California, the sun is just setting and the Giants vs the Dodgers game is starting, on the eastest coast still isn't midnight, so you're either pullin' our legs or this is last week's affair~
