I have a 2000 chevy suburban. The rear vents do not blow hot air when the heater is on. the front and floor vents do not work at all but the defrost vent does work. Please help me. Karl
DEFROST MODE is by design and by law, the failure-default condition when something in the HVAC system fails. You MUST be able to clear the windshield for safety sake, ergo: that's the reason why it does that. The failure of a diverted valve or failure of correct (read: any) vacuum to the whole system results in defrost mode only. I'll need more info and observations by you to give better help. Thanks.

Connection point, wich i belive would be some sort of vacuum pump, witch is not replaced. All other parts is replaced, exept hoses between them. Will be happy for answers.. Tomas/Sweden
