I have a 2005 Chevy Suburban. It will not go into 4wd. I have checked the actuator on the axle. I have power there, but when you push the button to shift into 4x4, the power is not transfering the the power to operate the actuator. I then installed a new push button switch in the dash, to no avail. Still nothing. Can anyone give me suggestions? Thank you.

Use an ohm meter and test the harness from the switch to the actuator. also check operation of actuator with external power source, if it still doesn't work, the actuator may be seized.

After pushing any 4WD button (4WD auto, 4WDH or 4WDL) the light just blinks and either goes back to 2WD or gives me the red light in the neutral field. I get no service errors just wont engage.
