I am looking at purchasing a 2005 Mercedes-Benz CLK 500 Coupe and being
told from the seller the convertible feature is inoperable.  About how much
would it cost to repair?  I am trying to see if the price is reasonable given the
issue

Potentially thousands depending on exactly what is wrong. This is a MB so nothing will be cheap.
