We have a 2003 clk. We put it in the shop for routine stuff. When we went to pick it up the dealership told us they couldn't shift it out of park and that the shifter had shorted out. This would cost an additional $2000. We have never had the lest problem with this before however we have had things mysteriously break at the dealership before.Are we being taken for a ride?

I have a w208 2002 230 clk kompressor soft top. It runs great but if I sit at a junction or trafic jam for a couple of mins the car starts to have an eratic tick over as in it tries to lurch forward so hard I have to put it out of drive and in to neutral. 2 Answers

I can get AUDIO with four dashes under it on the screen, but that's it. It's like the thing is dead. It was working great before.;
