Asked by Eric Jun 26, 2013 at 11:47 AM about the 2005 Mercedes-Benz CL-Class CL 500 Coupe

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The C setting makes the engine runs
slow & is for snow or bad weather so
the car won't tailspin & rides better in
the snow

the "C" button is just a setting for the gearbox (comfort mode) and has no control of the t/c. it will try and setoff in a higher gear though rather than 1st gear like in "S" (standard mode) hope that helps
