Fluid Leak - Broken Driver Seat Forward Adjustment Lever

My buddy has a C230 Kompressor. I asked him how to adjust the seat
because it was too far back. He told me someone broke the lever and just
to pull it hard. I did, and immediately there was a pop and hissing with a
foul-smelling fluid spraying all over the seat and my leg. It smelled like
grease at first but it is definitely glue because it has dried to my skin and
will not come off.

Does anyone know what this glue is and/or what happened? And what
parts of the seat were compromised, if any?

What Tom said, I would inspect under the seat to find out what exactly broke and sprayed on your leg.
