What to check when the power seat control stops
functioning?

The fuse box. Easiest place to start. Can't remember exactly where it's located but open the passenger door and look for a panel on the side of the dashboard. If that's not the problem I'd say it's probably the switch itself. The motors in the seat are pretty much bullet proof so is highly unlikely that's where the problem lies. Hope you find a solution.
