Trouble with mercedes benz c240

I was driving down the road the car
seemed like it didn't wanna accelerate I
was going about 15 mph and then it
dropped to less than 5 and was kinda
jolting forward. I parked the car for
about two hours started up still didn't
wanna accelerate normally turned it off
then turned it back on now it won't
start just makes a click sound.. any
one know what this could be

Would check the charging system. Load test battery after recharge (which you probably need a new one) and also check voltage from alternator once your up and running again. You should have the car scanned for pending codes. Would not be a bad idea to clean the throttle body and change out your fuel and air filters as well. Good Luck!
