Mercedes c240 2003

My Mercedes will not shift out of 1st gear, it
still drives though? What is the issue? What
can I do?

I have the identical issue with a 2003 Mercedes c230, almost like it skips from 1st to 2nd etc. All the gears run fine. Let me know what you come up with.

The most common problem aside from an actual internal transmission issue is the Conductor plate & connector plug. If the transmission has not been serviced regularly or at all those are the 2 items that usually fail. Make sure to buy those parts OEM Mercedes, do not use the cheaper aftermarket junk

It's not an issue. Take it out of comfort mode and put it in sport. The button is that "c" over "s" thing next to your shifter
