Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car cranks and wont start..replaced fuel filter..put
new fuel pump in..i turn key and pump comes on
and emedeitly turns off...even with lines off it
pumps no gas..i hooked old and new pump directly
to battery..works fine...my friend sait maybe
ignition switch ...im changing it now..any ideas

Check the fuses first the pump should come on for a few seconds then shut off the ECM controls the amount of time the pump runs. Are you sure you have spark?
