Won't start

Asked by Lm061910 Apr 22, 2018 at 09:05 PM about the 1995 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Coupe RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car wont start after being parked over the
winter. I took the ignition module and coil in to be
tested . they said the ignition module was bad. I
replaced it and the coil still wont start. I tried
starting fluid wont fire. What else could it be
maybe fuel pump? But i still think it would have
started with starting fluid. 1995 z28 camaro 5.7l

you probably shouldn't run it with the crap that's in the tank , but if you get it running put some octane booster in , do you hear the fuel pump prime the system when you hit the key ? check for spark it's not good to let them just sit like that , I fire up my cleatus mobile every 3 days

No i dont hear the pump prime up. And i didnt have spark. I took the coil and the ignition module in to be tested the told me the ignition module tested to be bad. So i replaced it still not firing up
