Car won't start

Asked by Nickolas Feb 10, 2017 at 05:41 PM about the 2000 Chevrolet Camaro Coupe RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

i have a 2000 Camaro V6. i was driving and then all
of a sudden the car wouldn't accelerate and started
running rough and shaky and then it shut off after i
kept trying to accelerate. now it won't even start. i
put the computer on it and read the codes and i
have a code that says it's a MAP sensor and
oxygen sensor and multiple misfires but i recently
changed my spark plugs. I replaced my ignition
coils, wires and ignition control module about 2
years ago, so i just replaced the map sensor and
i'm still getting the same results with the car not
turning over.

What are the codes? Parts that are two years old may not be good anymore.

I'll have to put it on the code reader again but what the code read was a map sensor, oxygen sensor (couldn't remember what bank), and random multiple misfires.
