Car won't start nor turn over

I have a 1996 Chevy camaro that's been sitting for about
7 months. When I turn the key, the car makes a clicking
noise that comes from the starter but won't turn over. It's
a project car so please tell me where to start.

starter could be going bad or stuck. trying hitting starter with a hammer

I have a 1998 chevy camaro car running good then it stop running battery is good change the starter but it just click1 time when you turn the key
