my truck won't start.

I have a 1997 dodge ram, I have been trying to
start it up but it wont go. I have a new starter and
batteries are semi new, am thinking it's because
it's cold? But I've been trying for about 30mins and
nothing.

Can you hear the fuel pump working with the key in the on position before engaging the starter?

i have a 2004 dodge 3500 and i can start it with ether and it willl run all day and fire up all day but after it sets about 4 or 5 hours it wont start at all
